He was a feared Sicilian American gangster who ran the Chicago Outfit in the '50s and '60s, but Sam Giancana had a far more notorious role in American history — as the link between President John F. Kennedy and a raven-haired beauty named Judith Campbell.

And now, Newsmax TV brings you a no-holds-barred look at the organized-crime kingpin and the role he played in shaping — and almost undoing — the Kennedy presidency in “Momo: The Sam Giancana Story.”

“Momo: The Sam Giancana Story” airs Saturday, October 27, at 10 p.m./ET, only on Newsmax TV, your No. 1 choice for breaking news, hard-hitting opinion, award-winning documentaries, and the best political coverage on television.

Salvatore “Sam” Giancana, also known as “Momo” and “Sammy the Cigar,” grew up in The Patch on Chicago's rough-and-tumble West Side, and after becoming a major player in the 42 Gang, an army of young thugs, graduated to the Chicago Outfit, which is said to have controlled illegal gambling and liquor distribution in Louisiana. He also had strong political connections.

In 1960, JFK, then a Massachusetts senator and presidential candidate, was introduced to Campbell by Frank Sinatra in Las Vegas, and she and the future leader of the United States quickly fell into an affair. But JFK wasn’t the only person involved with Campbell. A few months later, Sinatra introduced her to Giancana and more sparks flew. And with Kennedy winning the presidency that November, suddenly the mob was rumored to have a foot in the White House.

Despite Marilyn Monroe to have been determined dead by drug overdose, "The Godfather" actor Gianni Russo, 75, claimed to the N.Y. Post the sexual icon of the 1950s was killed by a doctor paid by Bobby Kennedy.

Russo insists it was not the mob who organized the hit on Monroe, but instead it was the former U.S. attorney general who was the younger brother of President John F. Kennedy. There had been rumors tying the Kennedys to affairs with Monroe and Bobby feared the story getting out.

"Marilyn was the best lover," he told the Post. "She just wanted to please you."

Before Monroe's death, according to Russo, the mob tried to set up JFK and RFK to blackmail the president and attorney general "into invading Cuba and returning the island's casinos to organized criminals," per the Post.

The plan failed when JFK did not show.

Both JFK and RFK were killed later by assassination.
